Boasting state-of-the-art operating theatres, an enhanced Intensive Care Unit, expanded women’s and children’s services, along with enhanced and centralised mental health services, the new 12-storey clinical services building at Campbelltown Hospital is becoming a hub of activity, with the 12 weeks of moves in full swing.

Late June saw the relocation of the Emergency Department (ED) to Level 0 of the new hospital building. Now operating in the new space and complemented by the upgraded P1 car park with dedicated ED parking and drop-off areas, the previous ED entrance has closed and our builders have commenced planning for the next stage of refurbishment works.

he new main entrance on Level 2 of the new building has opened, seeing the relocation of the public bus stop to just outside the doors. Public access to all hospital services and departments other than Emergency is now via the main entrance (best parking P2 or P3) or Entrance D off Parkside Crescent (best parking P8).

The $632 million Stage 2 redevelopment of Campbelltown Hospital is providing a major expansion and upgrade of essential healthcare services for the Macarthur region.
