Due to the unforeseen construction pause and restrictions implemented in line with NSW Government COVID-19 Health Orders, works on the P1 car park have been extended until mid-March 2022.
Works are now underway to construct a new campus entry driveway off Appin Road, adjacent to the P4 car park.
The relocated entry point will provide easier access to the new hospital building currently under construction, and will replace the existing Appin Road entry from late 2021.
In preparation for the opening of our new Emergency Department in 2022, a range of works are required within the hospital’s P1 car park to support additional capacity and improved vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow. Access to the car park will be restricted until late 2021.
